What this service is

Kelowna Irrigation is a quote-request and referral service. We collect details about irrigation work you need and pass them to independent irrigation contractors serving your area.

We are not an irrigation contractor. We do not perform irrigation work, we do not employ or supervise the contractors who receive your request, and we are not a party to any agreement you enter into with them.

No guarantee of service or availability

• We do not guarantee that any contractor will contact you.
• We do not guarantee that a contractor will be available within any particular timeframe.
• We do not guarantee pricing, and we do not set or influence the prices contractors quote.
• We do not guarantee that any particular number of contractors will respond.
• Contractor availability is significantly affected by season, particularly during the April to May and September to October peaks.

Your relationship with contractors

Any quote, agreement, contract, payment or dispute is strictly between you and the contractor. We are not involved in it.

You are responsible for satisfying yourself as to a contractor's suitability before engaging them. We recommend confirming their business licence, liability insurance, WorkSafeBC coverage where applicable, and any certification relevant to the work — such as current backflow tester certification. We do not independently verify these on your behalf.

We are not responsible for the quality, timeliness, safety or legality of work performed by any contractor, nor for any loss or damage arising from it.

Submitting a request

• You must be the property owner, or authorised by the owner, to request work on a property.
• You must provide accurate contact details. Requests with false or incomplete information may not be passed on.
• By submitting a request you consent to your details being shared with independent contractors serving your area.
• You must not use the form to submit spam, marketing material or automated submissions.

Information on this site

Content on this site about irrigation practice, seasonal timing, local water supply and system design is provided for general information. It reflects conditions and practices in the Central Okanagan generally and may not apply to your specific property.

Rules on watering restrictions, backflow prevention and testing requirements are set by your water purveyor or municipality, not by us. Always confirm current requirements with the authority serving your address. We may describe those requirements in general terms, but our description is not authoritative and may be out of date.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or from any interaction with a contractor introduced through it. This includes property damage, water damage, loss of landscaping, business losses and lost opportunity.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Intellectual property

The content, design and code of this website are owned by us or our licensors. You may not reproduce substantial portions of the site without permission.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in that province.
