Mid-season: Dry patches, weak zones and overspray are easiest to diagnose while the system is running daily. Mid-season is also when contractor availability is best.

Why local knowledge changes an irrigation quote
Slope, elevation and the water purveyor on your street all change what a system needs. A request that carries those details comes back with a more accurate price.
Built for Okanagan terrain
A hillside lot in Wilden and a flat lot in Rutland are different irrigation problems. Requests carry neighbourhood context, so the contractor arrives already knowing the terrain.
One request, one phone call
Describe the job once instead of repeating it down a list of numbers. The details go to a contractor who already works on properties like yours.
Clear about what we are
We are a quote-request service, not a contracting company. We do not perform the work, and we say so plainly rather than implying a crew and an office we do not have.
Timing that reflects your elevation
A blowout date that works in Lower Mission is already too late at Big White. Our seasonal guidance follows the real elevation and climate differences across the region.

Four steps, no cost, no obligation
We are a quote-request service. Here is exactly what happens after you submit a request — including what we do not do.
Describe the job
Tell us the service you need, your area and what the system is doing. The more detail you give — which zones, what symptoms — the more accurate the price you get back.
We send it to a local contractor
Your request goes to an independent irrigation contractor who works in your part of the Central Okanagan and handles that type of job.
They contact you directly
They contact you with pricing and availability. You deal with them directly from there — we are not a party to the work or the contract.
You decide — no obligation
If the price and timing suit you, go ahead. If they do not, walk away — requesting costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
The Okanagan irrigation year, season by season
Two windows carry most of the risk and most of the demand. Knowing which one you are in tells you how soon to book.
April – May
Start-up and repair season
Systems come back online and winter damage surfaces. This is the busiest stretch of the year for contractors, so requests made early get the best availability.
- Pressurise slowly to avoid surge damage
- Test every zone before relying on it
- Reset schedules for spring, not last August
June – August
Coverage and efficiency
Dry patches, overspray and weak zones are easiest to diagnose while the system runs daily — and mid-season availability is better than either peak.
- Match nozzles within each zone
- Convert beds to drip to cut evaporation losses
- Cycle-and-soak on any sloped lot
September – October
Winterization — the deadline that matters
The one service where being late is genuinely expensive. Blowout demand spikes sharply in October, and at elevation the window closes considerably sooner.
Winterization details- Book earlier at elevation — Big White, Black Mountain, Joe Rich
- Draining alone does not clear a system
- Being early costs nothing; being late cracks pipe

Email quotes@kelownairrigation.caCommon questions about irrigation quotes
Are you an irrigation contractor?
No. Kelowna Irrigation is a quote-request service. We collect details about the work you need and pass them to an independent irrigation contractor serving your area, who then contacts you directly with pricing and availability. We do not perform irrigation work ourselves and are not a party to any agreement you reach with a contractor.
Does it cost anything to request a quote?
No. Submitting a request is free and carries no obligation. You are never charged for using the site, and you are under no obligation to hire anyone who contacts you.
How many contractors will contact me?
It varies by area, season and the type of work. Availability is tightest during the April-May and September-October peaks, and outlying communities can take longer than Kelowna or West Kelowna. We cannot guarantee a response time, or that a contractor will be available for your job.
What happens to my information?
The details you submit are shared with an independent irrigation contractor serving your area so they can contact you about the work. We do not sell your information for unrelated marketing. Our privacy policy sets out what we collect, why, and how to ask us to delete it.
Do you have an office I can visit?
No, and we would rather say so plainly than imply otherwise. This is an online quote-request platform serving Kelowna and the surrounding Central Okanagan, not a storefront or a staffed depot. Requests come in through the site or by phone.
